Faros

XFund is how FAROS builds operating companies in new markets.

Instead of advising from the outside, FAROS structures a dedicated UK operating company around a validated Chilean business. The parent stays independent. The UK company brings together local leadership, market access, capital when required and FAROS’ execution platform.

Inspired by venture building and search funds — built for international expansion.

A dedicated UK operating company — when the opportunity deserves it.

Each approved opportunity becomes its own UK company, with a clear mandate to operate in market. Chile–UK is the first corridor; the same model can extend to other origin markets over time.

The parent stays independent

Expansion does not require selling the Chilean company. The origin business can contribute rights, know-how, supply or capital into the UK company and remain the parent.

Aligned contribution

Ownership and roles follow what each party actually brings: the parent’s proven offer, local leadership, capital when needed, and FAROS’ methodology and network.

Four contributions. One UK company.

FAROS matches parties around a specific opportunity. For how each actor engages, see Collaborate.

Origin company

Brings a proven product, brand, supply or capability — and joins the UK company without selling the Chilean parent.

Local leadership

A Venture Scout who may become Managing Director originates the opportunity and, if approved, leads the UK company.

Capital partners

Join when the opportunity needs launch or working capital.

FAROS

Runs XFund: structures the opportunity, coordinates parties and stays with execution.

From hypothesis to a live UK company.

Opportunities advance step by step. Incorporation happens only when the Investment Committee approves.

  1. 1

    Origination

A Venture Scout — or FAROS — identifies a Chilean company with real product-market fit and a serious UK hypothesis.

  2. 2

    Evaluation

Evidence is gathered on market fit, transferability, parent capacity and leadership profile.

  3. 3

    Investment case

Commercial strategy, capital needs, ownership, contracts and risks are packaged for decision.

  4. 4

    Investment Committee

Approve, condition, request more evidence, or reject — before capital and incorporation.

  5. 5

    Launch

On approval, the dedicated UK operating company is formed and capital closes as required.

  6. 6

    Operation

The Managing Director leads. FAROS stays with the company through reporting and execution support.

Built to operate. Not to advise and leave.

XFund is FAROS’ expansion model — not a consulting engagement and not a public deal feed. For the platform that supports sourcing, validation and execution, see CHUK Platform.
